 Q: Can I print in color?   
 A: No, color printing is not yet available. Plans to deploy color printers in the near future are currently under way.

 A: No, you can only use the printer located in the lab where you are logged on.

 A: You can use the slip to add printing credit and/or to increase your Internet quota
using the update quota Web page

 Q: How are printers being added to the computer?   
 A: Each lab printer is automatically added to all PCs in that specific lab as a default printer. All you have to do is print on the default printer.

 A: You can check your printing history using the printing history web page

 A: You can check your printing balance by clicking on the printer icon on the system tray (next to the computer clock)

 Q: How can I print on the printers in public labs?   
 A: To be able to print, students should buy a printing SLIP from the cashiers office and update theire printing quota using the update quota Web page:

 Q: How do I enable Arabic Support in my user profile from a public lab PC?   
 A: Arabic support is an available option with Windows XP and Office XP.
1- From the start menu select Office XP, then Regional and Language Options
2- In the new opened window, choose the Languages option then click on Details.
3- In the text services and input window click on Add..., choose Arabic (Lebanon) as input language.

 Q: How do I logon to any PC in the public labs?   
 A: To logon to any PC in the public labs you have to authenticate using your AUB Net account. Please make sure to select AUB.EDU.LB Kerberos in the domain tab.

 Q: How do I retrieve my saved files from different machines in the public labs?   
 A: To access your files from different locations in the public labs you have to save the files in a shared folder (My Document located on the desktop of each machine in the public labs)

 Q: What is the cost per printed page?   
 A: The price of the SLIP is LL 15,000 (as of August 2004) valid for 250 pages. (60 L.L./page)

 Q: Where can iI find printers available for students in the public labs?   
 A: Printer are available for students to print their documents from the following public labs:
1- Van Dyck lab
2- Jafet library lab
3- Science library
4- Saab Medical library
5- Agriculture Lab

 Q: Will I get notified when my printing balance gets low?   
 A: You will receive a popup message on the computer when your printing balance reaches LL 600 or less.

 A: No, you will not be able to print when your printing balance reaches LL 0.
