Q: 7.What is the 3.5 days compensatory time-off for summer days?
A: The University may effect a reduced work schedule during the summer months for Employees in faculties and administrative offices (except for Hospital). If reduced hours are adopted, the extent and duration of such reduction will be determined each year by the University. Since most Hospital Employees do not follow the "Summer Work Schedule", they will be eligible to receive compensatory time-off in lieu of additional hours worked during that period. This eligibility is 3.5 days for the summer worked which have to be taken between July 1 and December 31.
No deferral is allowed.
