| | A: Yes, you can have up to 3 wired connections and 1 wireless Access Point at your apartment.

| | A: Yes, if you need wireless access from you apartment you can request that by e-mailing wireless.support@aub.edu.lb mentioning your apartment building and number. CNS will install an Access Point similar to the ones used on campus that will extend the same services (AUBdot1x, AUBwlan, AUBguests, AUBsubscription)
Alternativily, The network infrastructure at Faculty Apartments I, II, III and Harriri provisions for you adding your own private wireless service within your apartment. For more information click on the URL below.

| | Q: How much time would it take for a network socket to be installed? (applicable only to Faculty and Staff) | |
| | A: After filling in a "Service Request" form addressed to "Physical Plant", the installation of 1 or 2 network sockets usually requires around three weeks to complete. The time needed to install a higher number of network sockets will be determined by the Physical Plant engineer. (Note that time may vary depending on site conditions)

| | A: No. You will need to make sure that you have filled an application form (available at the below URL).

| | Q: What do I need to do to install a network socket? (applicable only to Faculty and Staff) | |
| | A: You need to fill in a "Service Request" form addressed to Physical Plant to install the new socket(s) (up to 4, 3 for wired and 1 for wireless). Installation costs around 45$ per network socket and is charged on the user´s department account(s). (Note installation cost may vary depending on the site conditions)
